Lettuce

Lettuce is a quick growing crop and needs to have all of the nutrient requirement in a soluble form ready for uptake since the crop may be in the ground for as little as 6 weeks. Because Patentkali contains all of the nutrients in the sulphate form, they are water soluble and immediately available. Potash is important in lettuce for heart formation and when in the correct balance with Nitrogen, can help to reduce free nitrate levels in the crop.
